I love holiday! I love the word. I love using it interchangeably with vacation as if I lived in Europe. Holiday means doing whatever you want, whenever you want. Anything goes when it is holiday. Nothing is better.
Do I want an extra piece of pie? Yeah, I do, because it is holiday.
Do I want to stay in my PJs all day? Guess what? I think I do, because it is holiday and I don’t have to go anywhere that I don’t want to.
Holiday is great for spending time with your family and friends, enjoying good food and spirits and playing fun games. It is the ultimate celebration.
One of the great perks of working in advertising is having the cherished holiday week between Christmas and New Year’s off. It is a time to celebrate all of the hard work and effort put into the year.
Along with celebrating, I also like to use this time for relaxation and rejuvenation. I try to watch a lot of movies and get in a lot of rest. Having a full week of time off is great for the soul and your mental health.
Whatever you plan to do this holiday season, I hope it is delightful and filled with joy. Celebrate and then recharge, or recharge and then celebrate. Cheers!
