Media Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Support agency Media Planner / Buyers in research, plan and buy execution.
  • Research media rates, specs, trends, etc. and compile information for Media Planner / Buyer.
  • Identify and validate client target audiences through exploration of agency media tools.
  • Answer telephone calls, and emails with media representatives.
  • Open media projects and manage buy set-up / execution details.
  • Create and send insertion orders to vendors.
  • Check quality control of ads.
  • Track and check media invoices, address billing discrepancies with media vendors and approve vendor invoices.
  • Contribute to agency marketing content (blogs, social media, etc.).
  • Manage internal and external client media reports with media buyer.
  • Traffic media materials (digital, TV, radio, print, and outdoor) to media outlets.
  • Digital campaign set-up including digital ad tagging and display campaign builds.
  • Monthly / weekly performance audits and budget monitoring.
  • Assist in creating presentations for media buy proposals for Media Planner/Buyer.

Job Requirements

  • BA/​BS degree
  • 0-2 years’ experience in media
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Strata / FREEWHEEL, Social Media Ad Platforms or Google Ads are all a plus
