Media Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Support agency Media Planner / Buyers in research, plan and buy execution.
- Research media rates, specs, trends, etc. and compile information for Media Planner / Buyer.
- Identify and validate client target audiences through exploration of agency media tools.
- Answer telephone calls, and emails with media representatives.
- Open media projects and manage buy set-up / execution details.
- Create and send insertion orders to vendors.
- Check quality control of ads.
- Track and check media invoices, address billing discrepancies with media vendors and approve vendor invoices.
- Contribute to agency marketing content (blogs, social media, etc.).
- Manage internal and external client media reports with media buyer.
- Traffic media materials (digital, TV, radio, print, and outdoor) to media outlets.
- Digital campaign set-up including digital ad tagging and display campaign builds.
- Monthly / weekly performance audits and budget monitoring.
- Assist in creating presentations for media buy proposals for Media Planner/Buyer.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 0-2 years’ experience in media
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Strata / FREEWHEEL, Social Media Ad Platforms or Google Ads are all a plus
